Steelcreek Workshops- How Not to Teach Science- A veteran science teacher explodes the myths about when kids should begin their education in the "harder" sciences such as chemistry and physics..."There is a very wrong way to teach science. The way we were taught, with Chemistry saved for High School, with the elitist attitude toward the "harder" sciences, it is very damaging and not at all the way to show our children how science works."

The Elijah Company-Many of you have asked about us--who we are; what we are like; what we believe; why we carry the products we do (and don’t carry others). We hope this biographical sketch will answer your questions...
Student of the Word- (Review courtesy of "Marion," one of our members) I chose SOW for my younger children after doing research into several curricula. I especially liked that it used the entire Bible. I am using the Complete Jewish Bible with it. I wanted my children to learn the entire bible. Not bits and pieces. I was impressed when I heard a speaker teach on the use of SOW. "As I developed this curriculum we had to throw out many doctrines we had been taught for years in the Church because there was no biblical basis for it." (not direct quote just my memory *grins*) This statement spoke to me because that is where I am. Learning to live the way G~D intended me to live.
